Vidya Balan to don `cop` avatar in Sujoy Ghosh’s next

At the book launch of ‘Raakshas-India’s No.1 Serial Killer’ by Piyush Jha, the National award winning actress revealed that she would be playing a cop for the first time in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film, ‘Teen’.

The 37-year old actor mentioned that the film had an amazing script and she was happy to work with the Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The film, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, features megastar Bachchan and Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The movie, which is set in Kolkata, is expected to hit the screens in 2016.

Vidya further mentioned how interesting it was for her to shoot in Kolkata with the same team as of ‘Kahani’.
