Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was never a part of M S Dhoni: The Untold Story, its makers said on Friday dismissing reports that his role was chopped off from the biopic.

“Fawad Khan was never part of the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Even when we were casting the movie, he was not in the consideration set. Dhoni is an extremely realistic biopic and we have been true to that even in our casting,” Fox Star Studios spokesman said in a statement.

The film, which released last week, stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role besides Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher and Bhumika Chawla.
