Scheduled for an October 29 release, Chris Hadfield's "An Astronaut's Guide To Life on Earth" is a slice of the space station commander's unconventional wisdom for everyday living.
"Always sweat the small stuff," "care what others think," and "don't visualize success" are some of the lessons readers can expect to reap, as well as accounts of life in space, with Hadfield narrating the audiobook version himself.
Hadfield, now retired, shot to fame in May with his performance of David Bowie's "Space Oddity," captured aboard the International Space Station, and uploaded to YouTube as his expedition concluded.
As well as earning 16.5 million views for his music video, the Canadian has also acculumated 1 million Twitter followers (@Cmdr_Hadfield). Even before his musical fame, Hadfield had been posting photos of the Earth to his blog (colchrishadfield.tumblr.com), conducting Q&As, and advocating for the space station's scientific merit.
