This new scooter will not replace the existing Chetak range. Instead, it is likely to sit below it in the lineup. To help keep costs under control, Bajaj may move away from the all-metal body that defines the current Chetak and opt for lighter materials such as plastic and fibre.
The overall design still appears familiar, retaining the clean and rounded look associated with the Chetak name.
