Italian carmaker Lamborghini has launched Urus Performante– a ‘powerful’ version of its Urus SUV – in India. Described by HT Auto as the ‘world's fastest SUV,' Urus Performante has been introduced in the Indian market at a starting price of ₹4.22 crore (ex-showroom), and is already available in the international market.

According to HT's sister publication Live Hindustan, the SUV comes with a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine, which Lamborghini has mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The engine generates 666 PS of maximum power and 850 Nm peak torque, and with it, the car goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
Urus Performante features and specifications
Urus Performante has a dual tone bonnet, which is prepared from carbon fiber. With a slightly bigger wheelbase than that of the standard Urus, the Performante comes with a 23-inch carbon fiber alloy wheels, and is lighter by up to 47 kgs.
It has features such as a dual touchscreen display on the central console, performance specific graphics (on digital display), ventilated and electrical adjustable front seat, ambient lighting, rear seat display, roof lining, seat backrest, rear walls etc.
