JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new exterior shade for the MG Cyberster through its premium MG SELECT channel. Called Irises Cyan, the colour brings a blue-green tone.
The Cyberster’s design continues to draw inspiration from the classic MG B Roadster, but it is clearly a modern interpretation. It sits low, stretches wide, and leans heavily into aerodynamics. The long bonnet, short overhangs and smooth shoulder lines come together with details like electric scissor doors and a fabric soft top. Built on a dedicated EV platform with a 2,690 mm wheelbase, the roadster also rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the slightly drooping bootlid with a neat lip spoiler keeps things clean while contributing to a drag coefficient of 0.269.

The setup produces 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, allowing the Cyberster to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 3.2 seconds. On a full charge, MG claims a driving range of up to 580 km. Globally, MG also offers a Rear Wheel Drive version with a smaller 64 kWh battery and 295 bhp, though this variant is not available in the Indian market.
Chassis tuning has been handled by former Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello, with braking duties taken care of by Brembo. MG claims a 100 to 0 kmph stopping distance of 33 metres. Safety equipment includes Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a driver monitoring system, and a structure engineered to resist rollover.
Inside, the Cyberster mixes a sporty layout with modern tech. The cabin features two 7-inch digital displays, a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen, suede and vegan leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, a PM 2.5 air filter, and a Bose audio system. There are sporty seats that hold you in place, a flat-bottom steering wheel with integrated controls, a rotary launch control selector, and paddle shifters that allow adjustment of regenerative braking.
The MG Cyberster can be booked online or through MG SELECT centres across India. Buyers can opt for a portable 3.3 kW charger or a 7.4 kW wall box charger with installation support. MG is offering a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, along with a three-year, unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty. Pricing for the Cyberster in India is set at ₹74.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
