The lifetime warranty also means that the battery pack on offer could be new. There could be a 45 kWh unit that we have already experienced on the Nexon EV. This means that the real-world range could be bumped to around 350 km, which is a really good figure. Also, the peak charging speed will also go up from 50 kW to 60 kW. However, we will have to wait for the official launch to happen, which is scheduled for 20th Feb, because that is when all the details will be revealed.

The Tata Punch EV facelift introduces a series of small yet clearly visible styling updates. Images circulating online point to a more defined front fascia, highlighted by redesigned headlamps. The familiar vertically stacked arrangement remains intact, but the units now look bigger and more sharply contoured. The LED daytime running lights and the front charging port continue unchanged. A notable revision is seen on the lower bumper, where the grille now uses vertical slats and is complemented by a silver-finished faux skid plate that adds a rugged touch.

The images on social media have the Punch EV wearing a bright neon yellow exterior paired with a contrasting black roof. Apart from this, there will also be a new one, which is a mixture of copper and bronze. Based on Tata Motors’ recent update strategy, more colour options are likely to be added when the facelift is officially introduced.

Inside, the cabin is expected to receive minor refreshes such as new upholstery and slight changes to the dashboard design. That said, key components like the two-spoke steering wheel, the fully digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system are likely to be carried over from the existing Punch EV.

In terms of features, the Punch EV already comes well-equipped. Amenities such as automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, keyless entry with push-button start and stop, auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents and an electric sunroof are all part of the current package. These features are expected to remain unchanged with the facelift as well.
