Tata Motors has confirmed that it will be launching the facelifted version of the Punch EV on February 20th. The exterior of the all-electric micro SUV has already been unveiled. This comes shortly after the updated ICE-powered Punch was introduced, with attention now shifting to the electric model. It has been a little over two years since the Tata Punch EV made its debut, and the model has gone on to become a strong performer for the brand.

The updated Tata Punch EV Facelift brings subtle but noticeable changes to its design. The image on social media suggests a sharper front end, led by revised headlamps. While the vertically stacked layout remains, the housings are now larger and more angular. The LED daytime running lamps continue, as does the front-mounted charging port. A key update is the lower section of the bumper, where the grille now features vertical slats, paired with a silver-finished faux skid plate for a tougher look.

Viewed from the side, the facelifted Punch EV stays close to the outgoing model in terms of overall shape. The main visual update here is a fresh set of aero-styled alloy wheels. At the rear, changes are expected to be more noticeable, with a mildly reworked bumper and new LED tail lamps that are likely to feature a connected lightbar, similar to what we have seen on the recently introduced Punch facelift.

Inside the cabin, revisions could include new upholstery and a refreshed dashboard layout. However, major elements such as the two-spoke steering wheel, fully digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system are likely to be carried over from the current Punch EV.

On the features front, the existing Punch EV already offers a comprehensive package. This includes automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, keyless entry with push-button start and stop, auto dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents and an electric sunroof, among other conveniences. These are expected to continue with the facelift as well.
