Volkswagen India has announced ‘Volkswagen FastFest’ to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. The brand is offering several benefits of up to ₹1.55 lakh on the Taigun and Virtus as part of the FastFest. However, the brand has not anounced till when these benefits are available. The Taigun Sport with a 1.0-litre TSI engine and automatic transmission is available with benefits of up to ₹80,000. The first 6 EMIs and ₹50,000 exchange benefits are on the OEM for Taigun GT Plus Sport 1.5L TSI DSG.

With the new offers, the prices of the Taigun Chrome start at ₹10,58,300 ex-showroom. There are benefits of up to ₹1 lakh on Taigun Highline Plus 1.0L TSI AT. The first 6 EMI are on the OEM for the Taigun Topline 1.0L TSI AT and Taigun GT Plus Chrome 1.5L TSI DSG. However, if you get the 1.5L TSI DSG, then there are also ₹50,000 exchange benefits.

Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus specs
Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus are available with two engine options. There is a 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI. Both are petrol engines, and there is no diesel on offer. The 1.0-litre unit puts out 113 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque, whereas the 1.5-litre TSI petrol churns out 148 bhp and 250 Nm. As standard, both engines come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0-litre TSI also gets a 6-speed torque converter unit, whereas the 1.5-litre TSI also gets a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Both automatic versions come with paddle shifters as well.
