Haryana panel to implement PM's 15 Point Programme for Minorities

The Haryana government has constituted a state level committee for implementation of Prime Minister's New 15-point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities and the Multi-Sectoral Development Programme in minority concentration districts.

The Haryana government has constituted a state level committee for implementation of Prime Minister's New 15-point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities and the Multi-Sectoral Development Programme in minority concentration districts.

Stating this here today a spokesman for the Social Justice and Empowerment Department said the chief secretary would be the chairperson of the committee.

The other members of the committee included financial commissioner and principal secretaries of departments of social justice and empowerment, women and child development, finance and planning, institutional finance and credit control, technical education and industrial training, home power, water and sanitation, health, agriculture, animal husbandry education and languages development and panchayats and urban local bodies.

He said the director general of police, higher education commissioner and director general school education, state project director Haryana Prathmik Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, directors of the departments of rural development, urban local bodies, industrial training and vocational education, technical education, institutional finance and credit control, social justice and empowerment women and child development, animal husbandry, agriculture institute for human development New Delhi and director-general health services would also serve as members of the committee.
