State Bank of India's (SBI) Panjab University branch on Tuesday announced corporate salary package for Panjab University employees. The bank stated that the corporate salary package entailed many attractive features like earning of interests at the fixed deposit rate on amount above threshold maintained in savings account, walk-in facility for overdrawing up to two times of net monthly salary on a simple written request.

The employees have also been given free -domestic automatic teller machine (ATM)-cum-debit card with no annual maintenance charges, free issue of 20 multicity-cheque leaves per year and unlimited transactions from an ATM subject to the maximum limit of Rs 40,000 a day.
