Bengaluru traffic cops on Monday were no less than saviours for a nine-year-old girl who had lost her way. She was out alone, according to the cops, when she could not figure out the route.

IPS officer Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police for traffic in the west division of Bengaluru city, took to Twitter to share the story. The nine-year-old girl, who was not identified, was lost midway between her home in Nandini Layout and Jalahalli cross.
When she was around the Yashaswini junction, traffic cops from the Rajajinagar traffic police station noticed that she was lost. They then got details of her family from the child and contacted her parents, who came at once to pick her up.
In the picture shared by the DCP, the girl, wearing school uniform, is being handed over to her parents by the traffic cops - assistant sub-inspector Manju and Head constable Sunil Kammar. “9 year old girl while travelling from her home in Nandini Layout to Jalahalli Cross had lost her way mid way and at Yashaswini Junction our @rajajinagartrps traffic officials noticed and helped her to reunite with her family. Well done,” the officer tweeted.
