Three bike-borne miscreants robbed a JCB operator of ₹13,000, his mobile phone and motorcycle near Kular Canal Bridge on Saturday night. The victim was returning home after finishing for the day.

The complainant, Lovepreet Singh alias Ajay, a resident of Heran village, said he taken ₹13,000 advance from his employer on Saturday. However, while he was returning home on his bike, three miscreants intercepted his way.

They thrashed him, and fled away with all his valuables and money. Sub-inspector Nirmal Singh said that a case under Section 379-B (theft) of the Indian Penal Code has been lodged against the accused.
