Vira Ke Veer and CM Valley on Saturday reached the finals of the JITO Premier League, which is being organised at the Guru Ram Dass (GRD) Academy.

In a low scoring semi-final clash, Vira Ke Veer defeated Star Touch Ultra Strikers by 41 runs. Batting first, batsmen of Vira Ke Veer scored 64 runs in their ten over innings for the loss of seven wickets. Chasing a competitive total, Strikers collapsed merely at 23 runs in 8.1 overs.
Anu Rai Jain of Vira Ke Veer was declared man of the match for his furious balling as he took three wickets in his two overs spell conceding just three odd runs.
No batsman of the losing side could reach double figures.
In the second semi-final of the day, CM Valley Smashers clinched a nine-wicket victory against Sweet Touch Strikers.
Batting first, the Sweet Touch team put together 69 runs in ten overs for the loss of seven wickets. Pulkit remained the top scorer for the team with 22 runs.
Recovering from an early jolt of team opener Sachin Jain, who got out on a duck, Kushal Khetan along with captain Karan Jain put together a dominating partnership to grab a comfortable victory for the team.
Smashers chased down the target in 5.1 overs with Khetan and Jain scoring 27 runs and 39 runs respectively.

Meanwhile, the Groovy Girls team won the women’s exhibition match against the Dazzling Divas.
Groovy Girls scored 78 runs in ten overs for the loss of two wickets. Misha Jain remained the top scorer with 31 runs and Jeniya scored 30 runs for Groovy Girls.
Dazzling Divas fell nine runs short of the target and could score 69 runs for the loss of seven wickets.
Jeniya of the winning team was declared man of the match.
