Minister writes to Omar, seeks removal of transport commissioner

In the letter Sharma cited alleged defiance of ministry’s directives and conduct that, according to him, has compromised the orderly functioning of the transport department.

The letter of the minister has gone viral over social sites.

In the letter Sharma cited alleged defiance of ministry’s directives and conduct that, according to him, has compromised the orderly functioning of the transport department.

In the letter dated August 6, Sharma described the matter as one of “serious concern” and said he was compelled to raise it formally after exhausting other means of resolving the issue.

Sharma further alleged that the pattern of disregard for the ministry’s directions by the transport commissioner had continued.
