After the meeting, Bajwa said the Congress delegation apprised the governor about the constitutional concerns arising from CAG Audit Reports for the financial years 2023–24 and 2024–25 not being presented in the vidhan sabha.

“The Constitution mandates that the reports of the CAG relating to the accounts of a state must be placed before the state legislature. Without these audited financial documents, meaningful scrutiny of the government’s financial management by the assembly cannot take place,” Bajwa said.
