The delegation led by Balkar Pundri, president of Akhil Bhartiya Ror Mahasabha met the CM late evening and apprised him of their demands.

Pundri said the CM assured them that the demands would be deliberated upon on August 16 due to his busy schedule with Independence Day celebrations.

“He said that the results will be informed to Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan and Pundri MLA Satpal Jamba said we will wait for the time and if CM fails to do so, we will organise another meeting and decide our next course of action,” he said.

However, there was no statement issued by the CMO till writing of this report.

Terming the encounter of Harsh alias Harsu from Kala Majra village of Karnal and Birbal alias Veer, a resident of Matarwa Khedi in Kaithal in the murder of Veer alias Veeru Valmiki as “fake”, the mahapanchayat on Wednesday demanded a fair probe into the matter by a retired high court or sessions court judge or by the CBI.
