On camera: Miffed TRS MLA grabs govt official by collar at inauguration event

Reports claimed that the person who was abused by Reddy is the regional co-coordinator of government-run Gurukula schools. And the whole incident took place as the school was inaugurated by the Zila Parishad chairman instead of Reddy, who was supposed to do it.

Video of a Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA purportedly grabbing a government official by his collar and using abusive language has gone viral on Wednesday. MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy was angry for allegedly being invited late to an inauguration event in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district.

In the viral video, the MLA could be seen annoyed as he complains that the program to which he was invited, started before he arrived. The MLA said that though he was ready for the event, the management did not contact him but rather alleged that his calls were ignored.

BJP leader Vasu Ramagiri slammed the MLA and wrote in Telugu which roughly translates as “They are like TRS MLA or street rowdy! Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy at a school opening ceremony where an education official was held by the collar and booed, with the media openly witnessing it! This incident is a proof of the anarchic rule of TRS under KCR.”
