PUNE: After getting a five-hour mega block from railways, Maha-Metro completed the elevated metro corridor work, crossing two railway lines, at Khadki.

Maha Metro Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha-Metro) successfully finished the work within the allocated time.

Maha-Metro public relations officer Hemant Sonawane said, “Central railway had given us time between 11am and 4pm on Friday, and our team finished the work within deadline.”
Maha-Metro erected 79-metre-long girder crossing the railway lines using 30,000 bolts. The PCMC to Swargate metro corridor is elevated from PCMC to Range Hills and later goes underground from Agriculture College.
