PMC approves ₹27 lakh for fort-like entrance at Lal Mahal

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Thursday approved ₹27 lakh for fort-like entrance at Lal Mahal on Shivaji Road in front of Shaniwarwada.

The civic body has taken required permission from the heritage department for the construction.

Initially, the civic body had approved ₹29 lakh, however, three bidders who participated in the process quoted ₹27 lakh for the work. PMC has carried out various works at Lal Mahal in the last three-four years, and this entrance is part of it, said officials.
