Australia vs Pakistan Highlights 3rd Test Day 3: The third day got off to a sedate start in Sydney with Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne getting their work down for Australia with their 79-run stand before the former fell to a crazy off-field trap while the latter was bowled in the following over. Aamer Jamal then ran riot through the remainder of the line-up with his six-wicket haul, four of which came after Tea as Australia lost wickets in succession to be folded for 299.
With a slender 14-run lead to build on, Pakistan lost both their openers in the first two overs with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood doing the work. Babar and Ayub then looked to rebuild, but it was spinners who ended their vigil. Lyon dismissed the latter while Head got rid of Pakistan's former captain before Hazlewood picked up three quick wickets to send the visitors 7 down at Stumps.
STUMPS: What a final session Sydney witnessed! Like Cape Town, wasn't it? 11 wickets fell in 29.2 overs for just 78 runs - 7 of those for Pakistan for only 68 runs while the other four for Australia.
