Former Australia cricketer Brad Hodge faced a lot of trolling on social media after he commented on video features Indian cricket team stars Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant. Kohli posted a video of the two cricketers promoting a product on which Hodge commented “Amazing what people do for money”.

He had a similar comment for a video featuring Rajasthan Royals players Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith and Ben Stokes. “As I said amazing what people do for money,” Hodge tweeted on that video.

{{/usCountry}}The comments did not go down well with the Twitter users as they started trolling him for his comments and the former Aussie cricketer had to issue a clarification.

“Funny, I never did say there was nothing wrong with it. I would do the same. Your interpretation of my comment was so ‘glass half full’ if I attach ??. Your interpretation would be different.”
“Amazing how brutal people are in response. So negative and glass half full. I was not speaking in a negative tone. I would do the same if asked and paid,” Hodge wrote on Twitter.
India will start their World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5. They will play warm-up matches on May 25 and 28 against New Zealand and Bangladesh respectively.
