Shardul Thakur clean bowled Jos Buttler right after team. Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj struck for India after lunch to remove Dom Sibley and Jonny Bairstow to provide their team a crucial breakthrough. Root and Sibley added an 89-run partnership for the third wicket. The fourth day began on a promising note for India with Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah striking in quick succession to dismiss Rory Burns and Zak Crawley.
