India vs West Indies 2nd T20I highlights: India's bowlers managed to take the match to the last over despite defending a target of 139 but Devon Thomas managed to take the hosts over the line.

IND vs WI 2nd T20 Highlights: Brandon King's half century and Devon Thomas's finishing act followed up on Obed McCoy's record six-wicket haul to help the West Indies finally record a victory against India at home in a T20I. It was the first time the hosts had managed to beat India at home in the shortest format of the game since 2019. The Indian bowlers managed to take the game to the last over despite defending a low target of 139. West Indies looked like they were on course to a straightforward win for much of their innings. However, the fall of Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer within a few balls of each other and the set Brandon King put pressure on the hosts. Wicketkeeper-batter Devon Thomas then took them over the line with a four and a six in the 20th over. Earlier, McCoy recorded figures of 6/17, the best by a West Indies bowler in T20Is, as India fell for just 138 runs.

  It's all going the hosts' way at the moment. Hetmyer seemed to have nicked it to the keeper off Pandya. Pant took the catch diving forward and Hetmyer had begun to walk back but the umpires consult and decide to go upstairs with a soft signal of not out. It is one of those borderline cases and the third umpire doesn't have enough evidence to overturn the soft signal. Hetmyer jogs back to the pitch with a smile on his face.

  It was quite pleasing for us, the way we played first game. We stuck to our plans and executed it really well. It's another opportunity for us and we are looking to repeat what we did in the first one. We want the guys to be able to bat anywhere and don't want them to be batting in specific positions. We want the guys to be flexible, there are two ways to look at it depending on certain players. We probably read the pitch well in the first game and thought as a team we made the right call to go with three spinners. The dimensions are different here and wanted to get an extra seamer here. Bishnoi misses out unfortunately and Avesh Khan comes in. It's unfortunate that he misses out but we are trying whatever we can from the team's perspective.

  Well this delay comes hot on the heels of news that visa issues has put a cloud of uncertainty on the fourth and fifth T20Is being played in Florida, United States. "Having the games in the Caribbean is not unlikely but efforts are being made to resolve the visa issue," Cricbuzz quoted a source in West Indies cricket as saying. "The initial information was that the players would be handed the US travel documents in St Kitts where the teams have arrived. But there's a chance that the players may have to travel back to Trinidad for the visa documents and from there to the US if they obtain the all-clear."
