Lasith Malinga summed up the moment brilliantly after the match, he said:
“If we conceded one run, then we wouldn’t win, and I wanted to win so I got the wicket - quite simple.”
Earlier, the Chennai Super Kings bowled extremely well to restrict the Mumbai Indians to 149/8 in 20 overs. Deepak Chahar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/26.
