A 5-wicket loss to CSK sealed their exit from the tournament but co-owner Preity Zinta was caught on camera revelling in the failure of Mumbai Indians to make the knockout stages.
In a video that has gone viral, Preity Zinta can be seen mouthing the words “I am just very happy that Mumbai Indians is knocked out. Really happy,” to a KXIP staff member.
Mumbai Indians, who are the defending IPL champions and the most successful team in IPL history with three titles, will not be able to defend their crown this time around.
