Nathan Lyon was on target for Australia on Monday as the spinner picked up five Bangladeshi wickets on Day 1 of the second Test in Chittagong. Lyon was rewarded for his clever change of pace on a pitch where the ball kept low. Ashton Agar also picked one as Bangladesh fought back with both Sabbir Rahman and captain Mushfiqur Rahim scoring half-centuries after the top order failed. After suffering their first-ever Test defeat against Bangladesh last week, Australia are desperate to restore some lost pride in the second and final Test. Bangladesh, ranked ninth in the ICC Test rankings to Australia’s fourth, are hoping to shed their underdog status with a series sweep against Steve Smith’s men. Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim had earlier won an important toss and unsurprisingly opted to bat against a spin-heavy Australia.
