Australia completed a whitewash over West Indies in the two-match Test series, winning both the encounters emphatically. The Pat Cummins-led unit won the first Test by 164 runs and followed it up with an enormous 419-run victory in Adelaide.
The contest saw Australia pile a gigantic 511/7 in the first innings, following which they folded West Indies for 214 in 69.3 overs. Having gained a huge lead of 297 runs, Australia added 199/6 in just 31 overs in the second innings and imposed a 497-run target for the opposition. However, West Indies crumbled once again and got bundled out for 77 inside 41 overs.
The outcome was surely disappointing for many Windies fans and former cricketer Carl Hooper didn't shy from slamming the team after a humiliating loss. During an interaction with Fox Sports, the West Indies legend termed the loss as one of the lowest point in the history of Windies cricket.

"It’s getting more and more embarrassing. I’m hurt today. I’ve never played in a West Indies side that has been bowled out for under 100. Just never. I mean your personal pride means you go out and fight. We’re not fighting to qualify in major tournaments. How much lower can we go?” noted Hooper following the outcome.

Hooper, who has played over 100 Tests, added: "Since 1993, we’ve struggled and certainly judging from the results, there’s no policies or systems that have been implemented that is changing the downwards course we’re on. We’ve changed captains; we’ve changed personnel; we’ve changed coaches; it hasn’t worked. So maybe let’s go a little bit higher and get people in these positions that can lead us in the right direction."
