IPL 2022, Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings Highlights: Rishi Dhawan managed to keep MS Dhoni quiet and eventually dismissed the former CSK captain to ensure a 11-run win for PBKS at the Wankhede Stadium.

PBKS vs CSK, IPL 2022 Highlights: Ambati Rayudu smashed 78 off 39 balls but he ran out of energy towards the end as he got out to a visibly tired shot. MS Dhoni then came in and threatened to smash the required 27 runs off the last over but Rishi Dhawan did well to keep his nerve as PBKS restricted CSK to 176/6. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 88 off 59 balls and led Punjab Kings to a score of  187/4 in their 20 overs. While PBKS struggled to score in the first 10 overs, Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa changed gears in the last five after which Liam Livingstone gave them a boost in his short stay in the middle. CSK then lost Robin Uthappa early doors and Mitchell Santner left after struggling to connect anything. While Ruturaj Gaikwad has looked good thus far, CSK have also been handed a big blow in the form of the dismissal of the in-form Shivam Dube. Both PBKS and CSK have been lacklustre in the first half of the league stage and are playing catch-up in the race for the top four.

  CSK remain second to bottom while Punjab Kings remain sixth but closer to the top four. Jadeja spoke about improving on things and coming back but this tournament is pretty much over for CSK. It was quite a brilliant bowling performance from PBKS, particularly from Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada and Rishi Dhawan, who was playing his first IPL match in six years.

  The CSK skipper talks to the broadcasters. "I think we started very well, with the new ball we bowled in good areas, but I thought we gave away 10-15 runs in the last 2-3 overs and we didn't execute our plan very well. I think (Rayudu) was batting brilliantly, but as I said we could have restricted them under 170-175. (On the chase) I think not getting a good start in the first six, we're not putting runs on the board in the first six. So we need to improve on that and come back strong."
