Ranji Trophy Final 2022 Highlights Day 4: Rajat Patidar hit a 163-ball ton as Madhya Pradesh extended their lead on third day of the final at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. They reached 529/9 at Tea with a handsome 155-run lead. Madhya Pradesh were eventually all-out for 536 with Shams Mulani picking up a fifer. In response, Mumbai reached 113/2 at stumps when the play was stopped due to bad light. While Patidar hit his 8th first-class hundred, Mumbai clawed back with quick wickets before the rain interruption, which forced early Tea. Saransh Jain also chipped in with a fifty to help Madhya Pradesh breach the 500-run mark. For Mumbai, Mulani picked up five wickets while Tushar Deshpande snared three. Madhya Pradesh were in a comfortable position on the third day, thanks to centuries by Yash Dubey and Shubham Sharma taking them to 368/3 in their first innings. Dubey and Shubham kept their form intact scoring 133 and 116 runs respectively. Dubey smashed his third century of the season. He reached the mark in 234 deliveries. Sharma also brought up his hundred in 186 balls. The partnership was broken after Mohit Avasthi removed Shubham Sharma. Patidar then came to the crease and brought up his fifty off just 44 balls. Mulani gave his team a big breakthrough as he dismissed Yash Dubey.
