Tickets for the 2025 Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan will go on sale on Tuesday but there is yet to be any information on when fans will be able to purchase them for India's matches that will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also said that tickets for the final will be made available only after the conclusion of the first semi-final in Dubai.
"The tickets for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy games in Pakistan are set to go live on Tuesday, 28 January, 13h00 Gulf Standard Time (GST) / 14h00 Pakistan Standard Time (PST)," said the ICC in its statement on Monday. “Fans will be able to register to buy the tickets for the 10 matches - including the second semi-final - taking place in Pakistan in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.”
Information on India's matches to be ‘made available in coming days’
India will be playing their matches in UAE and the final will also be played there if Rohit Sharma and Co. make it. “Ticket information regarding the UAE matches featuring India will be made available in the coming days,” said the ICC. Regardless of whether they make it to the stage or not, one of the two matches will be played in Dubai. While the final is slated to be played in Lahore, it will be in the UAE if India make it.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is currently facing a race against time to have stadiums ready in the country for the tournament, which starts on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi. The stadium in the city, along with those in Rawalpindi and Lahore have been in the throes of redevelopment work of varying degrees. The venues in Lahore and Karachi are to host a short triangular ODI series with New Zealand and South Africa before the Champions Trophy.
