VVS Laxman shares touching story of Harekala Hajabba, leaves Twitter inspired

On Monday, Indian cricket team great VVS Laxman shared the story of Harekala Hajabba, a fruit vendor who built a school for educating the underprivileged children in his village.

On Monday, Laxman shared the story of Harekala Hajabba, a fruit vendor who built a school for the education of children from his village, and is now set to get a college constructed from his money.

Hajabba hails from Mangalore, Karnataka, and is a social reformer who, according to Deccan Chronicle, has been selling oranges for a living for last 30 years, and also runs a school for underprivileged kids. His story has also been included in Mangalore University’s MA course.

Dhawan top scored for India with a fine 72 to push India to their highest T20I total of 203/5 at the Wanderers, and in South Africa’s chase, Bhuvneshwar derailed the hosts with a five-wicket haul.

Bhuvneshwar, with his spell of 4-0-24-5 became the first Indian bowler to take a T20I five-wicket haul, and also the first Indian to claim fifers across all three formats.
