England were in dominating form as they cruised past New Zealand on Monday to seal a whitewashed 3-0 win in their third Test match, at Headingley Carnegie in Leeds. Fans were totally entertained by the aggressive brand of cricket display from Day 1 to Day 5. But Day 4 also witnessed a bizarre brawl on the Western Terrace stand as a man wearing a replica of Paul Gascoigne's infamous 1996 Euro football jersey could be seen throwing punches at another spectator. The brawl seemed so ridiculous that fans could be seen laughing. It was followed by the arrival of police, who removed the rowdy spectators away from the stands.

During the third Test, the hosts displayed an aggressive brand of cricket which helped them win the game by seven wickets. After rain washed out the first session on the final day, England raced to 296 for three in the middle session after resuming on 183 for two. Joe Root (86*) and Jonny Bairstow (71*) used all their experience to destroy New Zealand's bowlers in a match-winning 111-run stand as England reached the target in only over an hour on Day 5.

The visitors had started the final day brightly after Tim Southee dismissed Ollie Pope (82) in the first over when play resumed post-Lunch. But New Zealand's bowling department couldn't deal with Bairstow, who won the match in style, smacking off-spinner Michael Bracewell for a four and a six in a blistering 44-ball unbeaten knock.

The hosts won the first Test by five wickets, and then followed it up with another five-wicket victory in the second game. They will be aiming to build on their momentum and put in a good display against India in their final Test, starting from July 1.
