India booked their place in the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup thanks in no small part to Harmanpreet Kaur’s 171 vs Australia in the semi-final. Her score was the highest by any Indian player, male or female, in a World Cup knockout game.

Harmanpreet’s innings helped India set defending champions Australia a massive target of 281 to chase, a target they fell well short of. There’s also the fact that her time at the crease, which saw her hit twenty 4’s and seven 6’s, was extremely entertaining to watch and made her an overnight star in the cricketing world.
However, the Indian women’s cricket team isn’t short of entertainers, whether on and off the field. After Harmanpreet had brought up her century, cameras caught skipper Mithali Raj and Veda Krishnamurthy engage in a hilarious dance.
Perhaps the most amusing part is that it took them both a while to realize they were being filmed, at which point they decided to laugh it off and hide their faces.
