Manoj Bajpayee reveals that he has not had dinner in last 14 years: 'After lunch, the kitchen is non-operational'

Manoj Bajpayee has revealed that he stopped eating dinner 14 years ago. He opened up about the reason why he took that decision.

Manoj Bajpayee has revealed that he has not had dinner for more than a decade now. In a recent conversation, the Family Man actor revealed that he has let go of dinner from his daily food consumption in order to take care of his health and the decision has been for the better. Manoj Bajpayee revealed that he has not had dinner for the last 14 years.

In a recent conversation, Manoj Bajpayee opened up about his decision to skip his dinner from the daily routine entirely and how he took inspiration from his own grandfather for the same.

On being asked how long has it been that the actor has let go of dinner, Manoj told Curly Tales, "13-14 saal ho gaye. I realized ki yaar mere grandfather bahut duble patle the... Aur bahut hi fit rehte the hamesha, toh I thought let me follow what he used to eat. Fir woh shuru jab maine kiya then mera wazan jo he control hona shuru hua. Mein kaafi energetic bhi feel kara aur kaafi healthy feel karna shuru kar diya. Then that was the time I decided that I will stick with this. Phir usme tweaking ye ki maine... fasting kabhi 12 ghante ka 14 ghante ka... raat ka dinner maine dheere dheere hatana shuru kiya (It has been 13-14 years. I saw how my grandfather had a thin frame and always kept himself fit. So I followed what he used to eat which helped me loose weight. I also felt a lot more healthy. I used to tweak it by fasting for 12 hours to 14 hours and slowly, I got rid of having dinner completely). After lunch, the kitchen is non-operational. It only operates when our daughter is back from hostel."

Manoj Bajpayee will be next seen in the courtroom drama Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, the trailer of which was released a few days ago. Manoj essays the role of a lawyer who sets out to fight against a powerful godman. He wants to deliver justice to a minor who was assaulted by the godman. The film premiers on ZEE5 on 23rd May.
