Fans tore his shirt, grabbed him and kissed him while he was promoting his film Tum Mile, but actor Emraan Hashmi says that he enjoys "this kind of fan attention". "I was in a mall minutes before this (the interview) and they were shouting excitedly. I would be dishonest if I said I don’t enjoy it," says the actor, who was in the Capital to promote his film.

“I remember Kunal (Deshmukh, the film’s director) and I were stuck in the Mumbai floods for over 20 hours. Kunal said to me then that if we ever got out of the situation, we would make a film on it,” he reminisces. His co-star Soha Ali Khan may have said that she was scared of shooting with him, but Emraan says that it didn’t take long for the actress to overcome her fears. “She was quite scared, but within a couple of days, things eased out. The only thing I did to scare her was piss in the water when we were shooting the flood sequences.”

The actor, who had alleged religious profiling a few months ago, says the incident taught him to be wary of the media. “Some sections of the media overstepped and tried to force out information from inaccurate sources. They got facts wrong and that changed public opinion,” says the actor, who incidentally plays a journalist in his next film Raftaar.
