She was suffering from cancer since last few years.

The couple had been married for 11 years and have a 10-year-old son, Siddhanth.

They had recently shifted to Delhi from their Versova residence. Rahul Dev’s brother Mukul, who is also an actor in films and television, told Mumbai Mirror, “Rina and Rahul had gone to Delhi for treatment. It is extremely sad that we lost Rina. Her death is a big loss to our family.”
