Call it a music festival inspired trend or the revival of the 70s hippie chic, we spotted many celebrities rocking the style. While actor Evelyn Sharma looked summer-ready in a fringed top, Bipasha Basu rocked a statement tasseled tote.

Actor Shraddha Kapoor also recently aced bohemian chic in a suede tasseled jacket. Designers say the trend is here to stay.

“Fringed elements are big this season. Go all out and rock a tasseled crop top with fringed bags and boots,” says designer Rina Dhaka. But if you swear by subtlety, road test the trend with tasselled accessories.

“Give your crisp white striped shirt a quick makeover with a tassel neck piece. You can also add fringes to the collar or shoulder of a jacket to instantly pep it up,” says designer Nida Mahmood.
