Hardy’s character will reportedly run into Finn aka FN-2187 (John Boyega), whom he surprisingly lets go after a comical sequence of events.
If the rumour is true, Hardy will follow in the footsteps of fellow British actor Daniel Craig. The Spectre actor appeared briefly in The Force Awakens as a stormtrooper, but never took off his helmet.
