The 41-year-old actor said she is ashamed of the film industry, reported Variety.

Charlize Theron arrives at the Dior Cruise Show at the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve.

“I am ashamed that I’m part of an industry that has never allowed a woman to work with a budget higher (than Wonder Woman).

“That’s so caveman-like. I am always hoping that this is the movie that’s going to change it,” Theron said.

The actor will next be seen in Atomic Blonde, due out on August 28.
