The Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco, has apologised after receiving a torrent of criticism for posting a controversial picture on Instagram — of two of her dogs posing on the American flag.

Cuoco deleted the photo, and wrote: “I sincerely apologise to anyone that has been offended by my previous post. This is no way reflects my feelings toward what the American flag represents,” she wrote.

Cuoco stressed that she “is a proud American in every sense of the word.”
Cuoco, who has been acting ever since she was a kid, became a darling worldwide for portraying Penny in The Big Bang Theory. The actor was married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016.
