Patti LuPone didn’t mince words when she said that pop star Madonna is ‘a movie killer’ who is “dead behind the eyes” and “cannot act her way out of a paper bag.”

Broadway legend Patti LuPone says music diva Madonna should avoid working in films as she cannot act.

The 68-year-old veteran actor feels Madonna is an amazing artiste, but nevertheless she is “a movie killer”, reported E! News.

“Madonna is a movie killer. She’s dead behind the eyes. She cannot act her way out of a paper bag. She should not be in film or on stage. She’s a wonderful performer for what she does, but she’s not an actress. Bing!” Patti said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Patti had originally portrayed the title role of Evita, in the 1979 Broadway show.
