Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the newly built International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex rechristened as 'Bharat Mandapam' in New Delhi. Earlier in the day, Modi had conducted a ‘puja’ ceremony.

Developed at a cost of about ₹2,700 crore, the project is touted as India’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
