However, on the directions of Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather, at least 12 BJP MLAs were marshalled out of the House after they stormed into the well.

After their eviction, 11 other BJP MLAs walked out of the House in protest.
Earlier, Awami Ittehad Party MLA Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh, brother of Baramulla Lok Sabha MP Sheikh Abdul Rashid, was marshalled out from the House.
As the House proceedings convened on Friday, People’s Conference chief and Handwara MLA Sajad Lone, along with People’s Democratic Party’s Pulwama MLA Waheed Para, displayed a poster calling for the restoration of Article 370.
This infuriated BJP members, who stood on the tables and began protesting. Meanwhile, Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh stormed to the well in support of the MLAs but was marshalled out of the House.
Sheikh alleged that inside the House, there is a ‘fixed match’ between the ruling National Conference and the Bharatiya Janata Party, following which action is being taken only against the six MLAs who are raising their voices against the abrogation of Article 370.

On Thursday, the assembly was adjourned for the day following a clash between BJP MLAs and marshals, with BJP members protesting a resolution to restore the former state's special status for the second consecutive day.
Deputy chief minister Surinder Choudhary on Wednesday introduced a resolution in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly reaffirming the importance of the region's special status, which ‘safeguards its identity, culture, and rights.’
The resolution urges the Centre to initiate discussions with elected representatives to restore Jammu and Kashmir's special status and constitutional guarantees, ensuring the process respects both national unity and the aspirations of the people.
