Rohit Sharma blasted the joint-fastest century in T20 Internationals off 35 balls to equal South Africa batsman David Miller’s mark as India thrashed Sri Lanka by 88 runs to seal the series 2-0.

KL Rahul gave him good company and quietly moved into 40s, the two having put 117 runs in the first 10 overs. Rohit went on the charge after going past 100, hammering Thisara Perera for four consecutive sixes. Rohit then continued his big-hitting spree but he fell for 118 off 43 balls. A total of 108 runs came only in boundaries and it summed up his class.
