It seems this was the last birthday MS Dhoni celebrated with the Indian cricket team. With questions rising over his ability to win matches, the former India skipper, who celebrated his 36th birthday on Friday here, is beginning to feel the pressure of retaining his spot in the team.

On Sunday, he failed to get going when the need of the hour was to up the run rate and help the team post a strong total.

The arrival of his manager-cum-friend Arun Pandey, and others especially for this occasion, left everyone intrigued. The team clicked pictures with him, almost as if it is going to be his last birthday with him.

MS Dhoni helped India win the third ODI but floundered in the fourth as he failed to take the team past the finish line even though they needed run-a-ball.

In Sunday’s Twenty20 International, even as India needed him to step on the gas, he fell for just two off three deliveries.
