Rocky Yadav, son of Bihar legislator Manorama Devi, arrested for the murder of a teenager in Bodh Gaya last week, was fond of guns.
His Facebook posts show pictures of him testing pistols and at a shooting range. Another picture posted is of self-loading rifles (SLRs) and AK-47s.
“Imagine a student preparing for civil services and playing with weapons. The two don’t gel. The lifestyle says a lot about him. Perhaps, the clout of his father got to his head,” said a police officer.
There are quite a few political posts as well. Some are in favour of the Grand Alliance (GA), while others attack the BJP, showing his political inclination.

Rocky’s father had unsuccessfully contested assembly elections in 2005 and 2010- once as an Independent and once on a RJD ticket. His mother Manorama Devi is a JD(U) MLC who was arrested on Tuesday after liquor bottles were found in her house.
In 2011, Rocky’s father Bindi Yadav was arrested after police recovered a huge cache of explosives, rifles and ammunition from his vehicle. This recovery was allegedly meant to be supplied to Maoists in 2010 elections to target security forces.
