The minister lambasted the Congress and other parties for having caused a lot of hindrances in the process of establishing the MAJU.

Azam Khan is the lifetime pro-chancellor of the university. Terming the Congress weak, Khan said that it was responsible for sending the Bill to the President.
In presence of a huge crowd, the minister spared none from Rampur to Delhi.

Taking a dig at the local Nawab family responsible for ruining Mohammad Ali and his family, the minister said, “But the days have changed.” The minister said that 50 per cent of the donors for the university were Hindus.

Calling for peaceful co-existence of Hindus and Muslims, he said that the Muslims should not be looked down upon.

General secretary of the party Amar Singh who also spoke on the occasion, said, “Azam Khan agar aap is junoon se peechche lagoge to aapka maqsad pura ho jayega (If you stick to your guns in this way, your dreams will be materialized).” “However, there is a long way for him to go before his dreams come true,” Singh added.
