They include: Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, her associates Shivnarayan Kalsangra, Shyam Sahu, retired Major Ramesh Upadhyay, Sameer Kulkarni, Ajay Rairikar, Ramesh Dhavade and Jagdish Mhatre.

They were produced before Joint Senior Civil Judge HK Ganatra after their remand to judicial custody expired on Monday, a police official said.

Special public prosecutor Ajay Missar, representing the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Maharashjtra police, argued for extension of remand for the accused on grounds that the investigations into the September 29 Malegaon blast, which left six dead and 20 injured, were still continuing.
