Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on Sunday took a dig at BJP leader LK Advani on his challenge to the Prime Minister for a live T V debate by saying that first BJP's Arun Jaitley and his detractor Sudhanshu Mittal should have a similar debate.
"I am not a Congress spokesperson. But I think first Arun Jaitley and Sudhanshu Mittal should have a live debate," he told reporters.
He was asked to comment on the challenge of BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to join him for a US style live TV debate.
BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley had declined to attend any of the Central Election Committee meetings till the appointment of Sudhanshu Mittal, a businessman, as co-convener of North-East Affairs, was revoked.
